Kev and I arrived back in the United States to attend our son Paul's wedding to his sweetheart Karolyn. This was a planned part of our itinerary and a great chance to catch up with our boys Paul and Christopher, as well as, friends and family. My Mum, Dad, brother Brad and his wife Anne flew over from Australia to attend the wedding. Kev and I had a chance to tour our Aussie family around before they returned to Australia.
Kev and I will be staying in the US through Thanksgiving. My feelings about our arrival back at Lake Tahoe have caught me by surprise. This is such a magnificent, beautiful part of the world. The mountains, majestic lake, fresh pine air, rawness and casual ease, comfort me. I am glad the snow has arrived earlier this year than last. Even though shoveling can be a pain, you can't beat the workout, and playing in this fluffy stuff is an absolute blast! I must admit that I miss the daily riding...but I am not complaining!
